Armenia is home to a diverse population of ducks, including mallards, teals, shovelers and others. These birds often migrate through the country, following ancient flyways. The wetlands of Armenia also provide a habitat for some duck species, including rare and endangered white-headed duck.

Bird hunting adventure description

Duck hunting adventures take place from mid October to mid December & mid February to 10th of April. The area locates (39,7598122 44,7777688) on the border with Turkey and at the foot of Mount Ararat. The bird hunting starts early in the morning. 2 hunters in 1 blind with approximately 20–30 decoys. Hunting ends around 12.00 – 13.00 PM. There is possible to find 12 different species of ducks plus other waterfowls. Every day there is possibility to go for a sightseeing tour after the hunt is over.

Program

  • 1st Day: Arrival to Yerevan International Airport, transfer to the hunting lodge, dinner
  • Days 2nd to 5th: Duck & other Waterfowl Hunting
  • 6th Day: Breakfast & transfer to Yerevan International Airport

Price, booking and payment:

Price: 2850 €/per hunter

Deposit for booking 50% by bank transfer. 2nd payment by bank 45 days before arrival. Final balance in cash on last day after hunting.
