The bear, with the exception of the bear with cubs, can be hunted from August 1 to October 31. The best hunting period is from August until the end of September. Brown bear is hunted from the tree stand and this is the only form of bear hunting allowed in Estonia. In our areas, we start feeding the bears early in April just after they wake up from hibernation. In addition, oat fields have been sown near feeding ground to attract more bears during. The biggest bear population is found in the Viru county, where our hunting areas are also located. However, in the rest of Estonia, there is a very dense bear population as well. Every year more than 60 bears are hunted in Estonia. We offer 90% success rate during five days of hunting.
